The Kłodzko Region is one of those wonderful places where you can meet a castle or a palace right around the corner. Years ago, these areas were compared to the French Loire Valley, although the number of castles and palaces per 10 square kilometers was said to be even greater here. Centuries ago, the area was loved by kings, princes and magnates, and everyone, in line with the fashion of the time, wanted to have a residence here. They are connected with colorful tales of knights and ladies, stormy loves and betrayals, thieves and robbers, as well as magic and incredible treasures. Unfortunately, most of them do not shine like in the old days, but they have something mysterious about them, which makes you discover them anew.
