Today CITV will close down after 40 years and as a tribute I have put together a video showcasing the channels idents, in vision presenters and some promotions set to the song What Once Was by Her's.

Originally starting as a block on the main ITV Channel in 1983 it would eventually gain it's own channel in 2006.

Over the years it has shown a wide variety of programmes some being UK made while others being imports from other countries.

However in March 2023 ITV announced that CITV will close with content being moved to ITVX Kids with some programmes airing in the morning on ITV2.
