In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a religious gathering turned tragic when a stampede resulted in 122 fatalities and left many people injured. Jist reporter Mukul Singh Chauhan visited the site where the incident happened. He also visited the hospital to speak with the injured and families affected by the incident.

Most of those who lost their lives were women and children. The stampede occurred at the conclusion of a satsang led by Narayan Sakaar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba.
