Oil paint is expensive and not something you want to end up in the garbage. So what do do with leftover oil paint when you are finished painting? One idea is to mix it all together... resulting in a wonderful neutral color, and then you can then store it in an airtight container and use it the next time you paint. If you are going to be painting again soon, you can also keep the mixed puddle on your pallet and cover it with plastic wrap.
