What to Expect when Building Lepin's 05077 UCS Venator Set

This video chronicles my build of Lepin set #05077 UCS Venator based on a MOC by an AFOL. Each step is timestamped and marked with a placard for easy scrubbing (use pause to read). I give some thoughts on how each step went using Lepin's instruction book and the resulting build. I show the changes I made that, IMHO, resulted in a better looking and more stable build. I hope to clear up some details left out of the instructions to make your build less frustrating. Finally, I include steps to fill in the gap/hole Lepin left in their build.

Please note, this is my first go at posting a video to YouTube. The production quality is not the best, but gets the job done. I'd like to apologize here for the segments of unfocused video and the audio with its unfortunate heavy use of umms and ahhs as well as other grammatically misspoken usage. I edited the video the best I could and I promise to learn from this experience for future posts if any. It has been an "earopening" experience for me and the phone I used has been put to rest.

I used ShotCut for editing and I would like to credit the original designer of the MOC which I am not sure if s/he got credit from Lepin.
