If you're about to thruhike the Appalachian Trail in 2023, let me explain a little about what your first day on trail might look like! There's a couple different ways to go about this, so I go over the Amicalola Visitor Center, the arch, hiking the approach trail, staying at the Amicalola Lodge.. or if you're not into those options, just starting at the Springer Mountain Trailhead. I hope this clears some things up if you were confused like I was in 2020!
