In todays episode I discuss what to sow and plant in autumn. From brassicas to over wintering onions, garlic and coriander. There is plenty in the no dig raised beds at the moment. Leeks, Chard, Onions, Beetroot, parsnips, carrots, Potatoes, Swedes, Cabbages and beans!
I also discuss the setbacks I've had this week, including the polytunnel being supplied by first tunnels. I show you how to prepare your allotment or garden ready for the seasons ahead.

I discuss the pros and cons of positioning a polytunnel and greenhouse. I discuss how to dry out beans and seeds to save you money next year. The pumpkins are almost ready for harvesting and storing. I show you my seedlings that are almost ready to plant out. From cabbages, purple sprouting broccoli, some red and green kale's, cavolo nero kale, April spring cabbages and coriander.

I look at the snake beans in the greenhouse. They are similar to long yard beans. They appear to work better in the greenhouse. Seeds sent by ‪@dogontheplot‬ I show you how to ripen green tomatoes. Most are ripening off the vine now, in the greenhouse in trugs.
The sweetpeas have dried in the net and it was such a time saver on storing the seed.
Thank you viewers for all the suggestions on how to stop leaves blocking the guttering on the greenhouse.
I start to clear the no dig beds on the Fig and olive beds. It won't be long until it'll all be clear, but for now some crops are continuing to mature and the dahlias are still in bloom.

Now is the time to prepare your beds for over wintering onions and garlic will be out.

I trim the hedges using my new Bosch Hedgetrimmer inspired by Clare at ‪@TheFarmyardGarden‬

The Garleeks that was seed sent by ‪@RobinGardens‬

We're lovely. More leek than garlic...but we shall see when I harvest more.

I show you the planning permissions on our allotment regarding structures and the limitations.

Don't forget the Live shows start back on Thursday the 26th!!!

Malvern autumn show is almost here too. 7 more days and I'll be in the company of all my favourite youtubers and if you see me. Come say hello!

I've decided I'm going to overwinter the lupins inside the polytunnel so the lugs don't damage them. I've also started harvesting more strawberries ?! In late September!!! Weird!
