With Ultimate’s roster size and reach seemingly impossible to top, the future of the Super Smash Bros. series is uncertain. How can a future entry not just a port with more fighters stand on its own? I have my own ideas for how Smash 6 (or 7) can innovate upon the series formula outside of the sheer scale of the playable cast. Let’s discuss.
