Line Loss Calculator: https://unboundsolar.com/solarinform...

I have been using a line loss (voltage drop) calculator to size the gauge of wire to use for a 100' run out to some solar panels. The most common gauge of wire used in DIY solar setups are 10 and 12 AWG but I think that will result in a higher than desired voltage drop resulting in power loss. To ensure I make the right decision I am testing out 8, 10, and 12 AWG all in 100' lengths to compare sidebyside what losses I can expect.
