On our first day in Madeira, we wanted to find all the must see and eat things in Madeira and we were not disappointed with what we found! Our first stop was to the Ninho da Monta scenic look out, the second highest peak on the island. We then stop for lunch to try poncha, picado and nikita at a small restaurant at the bottom of a canyon. After lunch, we drove to the black sand beach in Seixal. Our day ends with a scenic drive back to Funchal. What an incredible island!
