Not all policies are created equal, so it is now more important than ever, to understand the type of policy you have purchased.

Some companies have left any COVID 19 related illnesses, inclusive in the policy, covering you up to the maximum amount.
Most have put a limit of coverage provided for any COVID 19 related illnesses, capping it at $100K, $200K or $500K. But NOT the maximum amount of the Emergency Health Plan.
Others have removed COVID 19 related illnesses, right out of the policy, all together.
In this case, it would be a good idea to purchase a STAND ALONE COVID 19 policy on it's own, to give you FULL protection, while you are traveling.

Next time you are traveling, check with a travel insurance specialist and ask those important questions, to make sure that you are traveling with Peace of Mind.
