UC Berkeley is located in Silicon Valley, the home of tech. So naturally, the university has been hugely influenced by the startup culture. There are tons of business clubs such as the Venture Capital Club and Hyperloop Club. Studying at UC Berkeley greatly increases your chances of getting into a tech startup. The CoFounder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, graduated from Berkeley. And the school has created a lot more tech billionaires such as Masayoshi Son, the CEO of Softbank.

As a UC Berkeley student, you're always competing for jobs or grades. The school culture is heavily focused on academics and studying. So your college life isn't going to be glamorous as the movies. BUT your life after college will be ;) Because your starting salary for working at these big tech startups is $100k$200k USD.
