I was very grateful to meet the wonderful people at HanoiKid, a volunteer club comprised on university students who are proud to showcase the history and traditions of their city of Hanoi. I got the chance to meet Camellia who took me on a tour for historic places in Hanoi along with teaching me how to cross the busy streets of the capital city. Insightful stories, amusing facts, and fables & folklore made this tour interesting and fun.

Hanoikids is a studentrun organization established in 2006 that aims to “Be A Little Ambassador of Hanoi” through leading tours for English speaking travellers to Hanoi. Hanoikids hopes to bring you an insight into Vietnamese culture, tradition, beautiful sightseeing and especially develop crosscultural understanding between Vietnam and the rest of the world. Each member of the club can explore their full potential through practical experiences and extracurricular activities.

So after a fulfilling day exploring Hanoi, we worked up an appetite. And after seeing the beautiful city from the street, we had a chance to see the city from above! It so happens that one of the tallest buildings in Hanoi, the Landmark72 Intercontinental has a buffet up high at their restaurant 3 spoons. And it gets better because this not only a traditional luxury buffet, the it also has unlimited made to order lobster dishes served right at your table!

Along with the seafoods and carvery, there were stations throughout offering the traditional Vietnamese fare such as pho, Bún Thịt Nướng, and more! A highly recommend place to fill your sights and well as your appetite.
