Philippe is interested in how architecture can provide a glimpse into how people live all around the world. He travels to some of the most unique spots and culture on the planet to see what they have to offer. Today he is in in the heart of Tamil Nadu, one of the 29 states of India, in the southermost part of the subcontinent. He’s making his way to Auroville, a utopian community that rose from the ground up in the 1960’s. What is it like to live in a utopian community where everyone believes in unity? Next, Philippe heads to the Chiloé archipelago, where the vast forests allow its citizens to develop remarkable woodworking skills, leading them to be famous for their wooden architecture.
