Robyn Cook, a woman diagnosed with stiffperson syndrome, says she went from ‘very high functioning,’ to ‘quickly deteriorating.’ It took five years to get a diagnosis, a ‘very isolating time’ while the illness progressively ‘got worse and worse.’ Cook has since received treatment and has seen improvements.
