In Venezuela you must reveal your deepest secret in public your PIN! This video is about money and payments in Venezuela, a challenge that dominates daily life. You need two types of currency, some credit cards, digital dollars and a lot of patience.

The official currency is the bolivar, which is mostly used for small transactions. The US dollar has been accepted since 2019, and is now used for almost everything. You should bring a lot with you, especially small notes, and be prepared to fight for your change.

Credit cards can be used almost everywhere. But what about ATMs? We bust the myth that foreigners can't withdraw cash. You just need to find one that works.
