In the autumn of 1944, World War II was raging across Europe. The Allied forces were pushing deeper into German territory and a series of battles were being fought as both sides vied for control.

One such battle standsout as a testament to the ferocity with which armored units fought from both sides. This is the story of the Battle of Puffendorf a showdown between American and German armored forces that took place on November 17, 1944.
