Growing up in a family that believed in equality, Alka faced the challenge of being a nonengineer in the maledominated world of engineering. But guess what? She not only embraced the challenge but excelled in it. Constantly upskilling, she became the first Indian to be awarded a scholarship by the Japanese Government, earning her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on International Corporate Strategy.
Today, she wears multiple hats, from Quality Management Systems to IT, PR, Human Resources, Operational Management, and Business Development – she does it all!
Her leadership philosophy revolves around teamwork, knowledge, delegation, equality, and agility. On gender diversity, she advocates for equal opportunities, breaking stereotypes, and providing the right platform for women to thrive. No reservations, just opportunities!
