The life of Battlebit has suffered severely just a month after release. Player counts dwindled under ten thousand by September and did not get any better. Fortunately, as I was editing this video, very slowly, update 2.2.2 came out and created new life in the game. Player counts just barely missing 40k players by hitting 39k peaks players 3 days after the update. The reason player counts soared is obviously the free weekend but I don't think it's a bad thing and I'm hopeful that by doing these free weekends every now and then more and more players can be grabbed into the game. They just need to keep their passion flowing so that one day we can get the lively BattleBit experience back again.
