Here’s a little tour of where I’m staying in Medellin for my monthlong stay, and a quick tour of my neighborhood of El Poblado. It’s a relatively safe neighborhood that is popular with expats and tourists, as well as the locals.
There are lots of great bars, restaurants, cafes, etc., so it is also a very convenient area, and as it’s not far from the Metro either, it makes getting around the city easy. While Ubers are relatively cheap here, traffic is a bit congested sometimes, so the Metro is a fast, cheap, and efficient way to get around as each trip costs less than $1 USD.
