There are a number of secondary ignition clamps available; but what id the difference? In this video we pitch the PicoScope TA397, Hantek HT25, Rotkee Cx1, and a piece of coiled wire against each other. Measuring secondary ignition waveforms with an oscilloscope is a great way to analyse how the coil and spark plug are performing, plus you can identify possible problems with the fuel/air mixture. We are using the PicoScope 4452A in this video and you can download the waveforms at mechanicmindset.com.
