Who invented thrash metal?
Today we're exploring that question to find the roots of thrash metal. We're going to explore the fastest and heaviest metal songs from 1970 up until 1983 when the first thras metal records were released. Was it Metallica, Slayer, Metal Church or Exodus that invented thrash or was it perhaps Judas Priest or Black Sabbath that wrote the first thrash metal song or maybe it was invented in Canada by Exciter, Razor or Anvil? Or perhaps in Germany by bands like Sodom, Destruction, Kreator or Holy Moses.
