Bowser is kinda bad... Okay thats an understatement. In Melee he has always been seen as a bottom tier character. In ever iteration after Melee Bowser was still seen as a low tier character. Until Project Plus, Bowser ended up changing significantly to the point that the character is now able to win a major tournament.
