Why Choose Matosinhos to live in Portugal?

Praia, the ease of being next to a large urban center and the rich gastronomy, make Matosinhos a municipality that many want to live in. Shall we know more about the county?

Population

The population decreased by 1.6% in the space of ten years, which represents a loss of 2,809 inhabitants, and Matosinhos currently has 172,669 people living in the municipality.

Localization

The municipality is located in the North Region of the Porto district, limited to the east by Maia and to the south by Porto, to the north by Vila do Conde and to the west is the Atlantic Ocean.
How to get

The county is currently served by metro and buses.
The best way to get from Porto (Trindade Station) to Matosinhos is by subway, the journey takes 27 min and costs €1 €2.
By car the journey is about 16 min (10.2 km) via the A28.
