Shahzaib Wahlah, a videojournalist and documentary maker of Pakistani origin, is AfPak Correspondent for France 24 based between Kabul and Islamabad. He regularly collaborates with Arte, M6, France 2, TV5, RTS, and Channel News Asia, mainly covering politics, regional policy issues, and environmental crisis. In 2020, he was awarded the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents for his story on the rising terrorism in Afghanistan.


We will be discussing the current political situation in the region, and how the US's departure will affect the stability of the region. We will also be discussing the potential for increased cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the implications for the region as a whole.
