IMPROVED WHISKEY COCKTAIL
2 oz Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
1 barspoon Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
1 dash Absinthe
Lemon Peel Garnish

Add all ingredients to a rocks or Old Fashioned glass with a large cube of ice, stir until chilled, and garnish with the lemon peel.

I prefer to rinse the glass with the absinthe (using an atomizer).
