This video explores the benefit of the LSit and its variations. The LSit is a simple exercise on paper, as you're actually just sitting down with your legs slightly raised. However, there's a lot more depth to it!

LSits are not only a fantastic isometric exercise for the core meaning you're holding a pose rather than working through a range of motion they also require "compression strength." This is your ability to fold your body in half, which requires a combination of core strength and flexibility in the hip extensors. The result is better movement and performance across the board.

What's more, the LSit trains straight arm strength, it has lots of easier and harder variations...
