Coming from the US, I was used to "High Highs" but also "Low Lows"...but Dutch life is really about "The Simple Life." I used to want to move to a forest to get away from the hustle and bustle...but "simplicity" is actually built into the Dutch culture (IF you come from a fastpaced society like the US).

And as a result...life has slowed down immensely for me here. I hope you enjoy it =)
