Why I Shaved My Head
In Zen monasteries, shaving your head is called "cutting the ignorance grass". It symbolizes cutting attachments. Attachments create suffering. Freedom from attachments is freedom from suffering. It is not necessary to shave your head to be free of attachments. This outer expression is simply a manifestation of an inner freedom.
