Why I Stopped Trying to 'Science' My Way to Success in Fitness

I used to get caught up in trying to “optimize“ things like my rate of burning fat, hormones, muscle, protein, synthesis, and a whole host of other characteristics that I tried to hack through overcomplicated diet exercise strategies.

I thought these strategies were worthwhile at the time, but looking back at recognize they were tedious and held very little influence over my success. Yes, they were scientifically legitimate, and did have some effect, but it wasn’t worthwhile and I no longer seek out ways to try to hack Mother Nature.

Reclaiming my attention away from the trivial strategies and socalled hacks that give birth to fat diets and workout programs has not only allowed me to focus on what most important, to get better results, it has also significantly reduced the amount of stress on my mind, body, and lifestyle.
