This video covers why the Salmon Run Ranking system is designed the way that it is and why there are not checkpoints for Eggsecutive VP. The king salmonids are a big factor as to why this is due to the fish scales that can be earned when one is fought. Hopefully this clears up some confusion about the frustration some players have as well as explain why it seems like everyone is in EVP.
