Luke Skywalker was the protagonist of the first Star Wars trilogy. He learned to use the Force, pilot ships, and use his lightsaber to defeat Darth Vader and become a Jedi.

Anakin Skywalker was the Chosen One of the Force, the protagonist of the second trilogy of the saga, and throughout his films he developed his skills to become the best Jedi and later Darth Vader.

And finally, Rey is the last protagonist we have had in Star Wars, being a fundamental piece in the last trilogy. The girl, Palpatine's granddaughter, also becomes a powerful Jedi... but her path is very different from that of her predecessors.
