Aircraft aerodynamics is an incredibly complex field with a huge amount of research attention given to it because it's important for safety and saving money. So, with all this work, why do we see planes that look like their wings aren't glued on properly, what's up with the leading edge 'dog tooth' or 'cuffed wing' and how exactly do they work.
