Why Isn't the Mckenzie Method Working for my Back Pain - Apex Orthopedic Rehab - Back Specialist NJ

Apex Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Here at Apex, Tom uses the Mckenzie method for his back pain rehab evaluations. It has been a very successful technique for us here and to put it simply, it works by asking the patient to perform a series of movements, asking them for feedback, determining the type of spinal problem, and then prescribing exercises and monitoring progress. Under the supervision of your therapist it is easier to make slight changes in form, frequency, and programming because of the ease of in person communication.

However, without the help of a Mckenzie trained therapist, it becomes harder to treat your back pain because you might not be sure if what your doing is right or wrong for you.

As we explain in the video, we list 10 things that you could be doing or aren't doing that would prevent the Mckenzie exercises from working for you. If you're struggling to find relief in your back, apply some of these tips to your Mckenzie exercises.
