What's it like to feel like a foreigner in a country you were born and raised in? Aju was born in Japan. Her father is from the Bahama's and her mother is from Aomori, Japan. She was born and raised in Japan, but still feels like she doesn't fit in. Despite being more fluent in Japanese than English, it's hard for Japanese people to accept her as a friend.
