When it comes to Gaming, for decades Narrative has often been ignored in favor of Graphics and Gameplay. We still see it now with games like Doom: Eternal, Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy, and many of the Call of Duty games. But recently in the past few years, we've started to see a change. Games like Titanfall 2, The Last of Us, The Last of us Part II, The Uncharted Franchise, NieR Replicant, God of War, God of War: Ragnarök, Marvel's SpiderMan, Cyberpunk: 2077, Omori and Red Dead Redemption 2 all have incredibly compelling Storytelling. As a matter of fact, most games that are getting nominated for Game of the Year at the Game Awards are Storydriven games.
