The title is a reference to Carter's autobiography, "Why Not the Best?", published in 1975 as a means of letting voters know who he was and his sense of values. The title asks the American people to demand the best and highest standards of excellence from our government, and by doing so, elect Jimmy Carter as the 39th President of the United States.
