I can't name many characters that surpass Arcane's Silco in terms of narrative complexity. He's a perfect example of the humanity of a villain, of how they're all the victims in their own, untold story except, Arcane takes precious time to tell us that story.

Regardless of the audiences' perspective on his morals (or lack thereof), you can't deny the beautiful job the writers did with his arc. He goes form being this stereotypically evil looking guy, to someone who made a lost little girl feel like she was worth something. But that's not to say their bond wasn't toxic. Because, OH BOY, was it ever.
