Q: Why the need to exit the cycle of reincarnation if we just forget everything when we come back? Why does it matter if we suffered before if we can't even remember?

A: The cycle of reincarnation is six realms not only one realm. It's not guarantee we will be back as a human (extremely rare to obtain rebirth in a human body and encounter dharma). The suffering in the cycle of reincarnation is endless and ongoing. It will only end when we exit the cycle of reincarnation. The easiest way to exit the cycle of reincarnation in one lifetime is to practice Amitabharecitation (Nianfo) and to seek rebirth to the Pure Land.
