Not all Black Snakes are bad. The other day we spotted the resident black snake. Our Black Rat snake is seen at least twice per year mainly in the summertime, this time we grabbed the camera. I believe the snake was more concerned about us with the camera but seemed to pose for the shot all the same. Keep in mind that these are nonvenomous. Did you notice the ants catching a ride on the Black Rat Snake?
