Often when people come into money, they feel the need to let everyone know and flaunt their wealth; however, this often causes many problems in their lives. Many wealth people are choosing to hide their wealth or do a practice known as "stealth wealth." They choose to hide their wealth and not even tell their family and friends that they have money. In this video, I share 8 benefits of stealth wealth.

1. People View You As Equal

If you choose to display your wealth to other people, eventually they are going to start to view you different from them. They won't see you as equal and they won't want to be around you as much. And wealthy people choose to hide their wealth so they are viewed as equal.

2. Staying Relatable

A man with an absurd amount of wealth like Jeff Bezos has a lifestyle many people envy where he flaunts his wealth. However, because of this, he is unable to relate to the everyday person, which leads to a very lonely life. Wealthy people choose to hide their wealth because they want to remain relatable with normal people.

3. To Not Being Viewed As The Local ATM

Money can really complicate relationships. When you choose to let people know that you have a lot of money and give them money, it is possible for them to develop a dependency on you. People could start to view you as their local ATM that they're entitled to get money from. Wealthy people choose to hide their wealth in order to strengthen relationships.

4. To Have More Safety

Choosing to show and tell everyone that you have money can be a very dangerous thing because people could try to harm you in order to get money. Kim Kardashian, for example, was robbed at gunpoint and robbed of $10 million of jewellery. Wealthy people hide their wealth to maintain their safety.

5. To Protect Your Kid’s Psyche

Parents of high incomes often have more trouble raising kids that parents of middle class incomes. This is because the kids are not forced to learn certain life lessons that build character in life. Wealthy people hide their wealth to make sure they don't harm their kids.

6. To Not Be Trapped In A Bubble

Often people segregate themselves is economic classes, which often means that everyone thinks the same. When people choose to live with different types of people it creates a richer life experience. Wealthy people hide their wealth so they're not living in a bubble.

7. To Have Less Stress

Even if you have all the money in the world, having nice things will still cause you problems because you have the stress that comes with owning things. Wealthy people hide their wealth because they'd rather live a less stressful life than have nice things.

8. To Focus On The Things That Matter

I believe that people who flaunt their wealth eventually come to the realization that material things do not matter. What actually matters are the simplistic things in life. Wealthy people hide their wealth so it doesn't become a distraction of what truly matters.
