Many students come to me saying despite over a year of studying English they still go blank and forget vocabulary in a conversation, mostly, because they don't understand one of the most important things about learning English that we very often get zero support with at school: learning English is an emotionallycharged activity.

For us not to go blank and forget vocabulary, we need to be in a calm state, not worrying about the mistakes we make or get nervous when words don't come out as planned. This takes practice, but working on this is the reason most of my students in our fluency community no longer feel nervous about speaking English within a month after joining us.
