The Tamiya Japan Instagram account recently posted some photos of their upcoming & muchanticipated 1/48scale Lockheed P38J Lightning static scale model release, so I did a little digging into what marking options we'll be getting with the kit...

...and BOY are they some good ones! No word yet on when kit number 61123 will be released, but I'm definitely going to be first in line when it finally is!
