Spec E30 was slow, but offline, which was fine. Spec E46 decided to brake in the middle of the track for seemingly no reason and I wasn't comfortable shooting the gap with 50 mph closing speed so I checked up. Just as the E46 moved over and made it clear they were aware we were there, my competitor already had a run on me and passed us all to secure third place. My assumption is the E46 just got confused as to why the E30 was slow and didn't want to pass under yellow or something.
