When playing as the solo player, take your time placing the traps and make sure you be creative with them, just to throw off the team as much as possible. Don't make them too obvious however, otherwise they'll figure out where the traps are much more easily.
The team then must cross the grid in 30 seconds. If the traps have been well placed by the solo player, one of the Mii's from the team will have to take the risk of picking which path is safe, or could be a trap.
If you have CPU Mii's on your team, they could do the risky work for you. However, if they fall for the traps, you're on your own.

CPU Mii's are on Master difficulty. As it was with every other minigame before and (hopefully) after this one.
