Cycling is one of 12 games available in Wii Sports Resort. The main gameplay mechanic is alternately moving the Wii Remote and Nunchuk up and down to accelerate, and rotating the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to steer. The player has three hearts that indicate their energy, and if they lose all of their hearts, they will have to take a break and will be unable to pedal for a short time.

Road Race consists of your Mii racing through different parts of the island in a single race, a threestage race, or a sixstage race.
