Hiking through remote wilderness. Sleeping under the stars in a wild camp cave. Descending pristine canyons. Could the weekend get any better?

In this adventure, we spend two nights camping in a remote wildcave in the rugged Blue Mountains National Park. We spend the first day hiking along a trail before eventually bushbashing down into a remote creek that houses our camp cave. On the second day we navigate through the wilderness and battle impenetrable cliffs and thick vegetation to descend one of the most jawdropping canyon constrictions I have ever seen. It is a race against the clock to get back to the campsite in daylight hours! On the third day we explore a canyon upstream of the cave, discovering an insanely beautiful sandstone canyon. We then collect some pristine drinking water from the creek before walking along the ridge back to our car.

I'm a 24 year old Aussie bloke based in the stunning Blue Mountains region with a passion for bushwalking, canyoning, rockclimbing and pretty much anything else that gets me outside.
