Another lovely day in Tomales Bay with SCAMP Wildflower and good friends. We had a break between storms, so it was a good time to get out and sail in our favorite place. We typically launch our boats from a dirt lot at Marconi Cove in Marin County, California, USA. 4 wheel drive is a necessity for this dirt area lest you get stuck, but my Subaru Outback is up to the task. One of the many great things about a SCAMP is that I can launch right from the beach. So nice. Our group of local friends we have labeled the “Marconi Cove Yacht Club”. Membership is free…No clubhouse except the open air. Today in my SCAMP were my good friends Dan and Sarah. Amazing how comfortable a SCAMP can be with 3 aboard. Also joining us were Jerry with his Lido, Carl with his Laser, and Dennis with his Laser.
