My first use of the new Wilkinson Sword Straight Edge Razor, a shavette, was a bloody mess. Many factors may have caused this. My technique, the blade not being inserted properly, the Wilkinson Sword blades themselves? This time I'm doing a dual shave with a Parker PTB and using a Derby blade in each razor. SUCCESS! I'm also using Canada's "Like Grandpa Lime" preshave oil, soap, and balm. I'm also using my Yingling Brushworks 24mm synthetic.
