This is NOT a how to video.

I needed to connect a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) stereo plug to a mono cable for my blue racer Vibroplex bug.

I have never done this before.

I used the diagram from the ICOM7300 basic manual (ver Aug 2021) 123


I needed to do this since I am trying to connect 3 keys to an audio splitter.

The problem that I came across using the 1/8 inch mono plug adapter for the bug from Vibroplex is that it would cause a continuous noise from the key when the paddle and bug were connected to the audio splitter.
